Maisie von Merxheim is a gorgeous, larger sized 4-5 year old German Shepherd. It's not very often we have a female of her size (~100lbs), and with such a big heart as well. Her favorite place to be is right by your side, where she will shower you with kisses and  lean in for all the pets and attention she can get. She shares a deep bond with her sister Lacey, so they are looking for a home where they can stay together. Both are great with people and fine around other dogs. Maisie walks happily on outings around the rescue, especially when she’s side-by-side with her sister. She is a great greeter with other dogs and is highly treat-motivated, already knowing her "sit" and "paw" commands. While she is comfortable and ready to explore in playgroups, her main focus is always on her human companions and her sister. She’s an eager-to-please girl who is ready to bring a lot of love to your home.
